Team Sweden Tech @ Slush 2024 will gather Sweden’s innovation ecosystem with incubators, science parks, startups, authorities and politicians. The aim is to create more business and investment opportunities for Swedish startups and promote potential collaborations, while showcasing Sweden's tech scene to an international audience. Welcome to meet Sweden at Slush!
On November 19, we will kick off Team Sweden Tech @ Slush by gathering at the Scandic Marina Congress Center in Helsinki for a startup policy track with a panel discussion, where Sweden's ambassador to Finland, Mr. Peter Ericsson, will give the opening speech. We will also get key insight in Draghi's report from a startup perspective. The policy session is then followed by a mingle event where snacks and drinks will be served.

Panel abstract
The policy track will explore the urgency of opportunity to enhance innovation and investment in the EU by addressing regulatory barriers. Topics will include cutting red tape and preventing overregulation, which stifles growth and competitiveness. It will also examine key issues such as facilitating long-term risk capital, encouraging pension funds to invest in startups, and solving the hurdle with talent attraction from outside the EU. All in all to strengthen the single market.
